Samuel Kane, MA, is a Clinical Psychology PhD doctor-student at the California School of Professional Psychology in his fifth year of training. Mr. Kane has worked directly with individuals presenting with emotional and behavioral (e.g., Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance), neurologically-based challenges (e.g., Traumatic Brain Injuries, Concussions), learning disabilities (e.g., Dyslexia), and chemical dependency across a variety of settings including public and private schools, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities, and university research settings.
Mr. Kane also has formal training in the administration and interpretation of psychological, neuropsychological, and complex personality-based testing, and has contributed to academic research on as an undergraduate and graduate student in clinical and forensic psychology. Mr. Kane is also trained a cognitive behavioral therapist and particularly enjoys working with teenagers exhibiting emotional and behavioral challenges that are interfering with academics, family relationships, etc.
Mr. Kane is currently a member of National Academy of Neuropsychology, California Psychological Association, Division VIII, Neuropsychology, and Clinical Neuropsychology, American Psychological Association. He is currently accepting new clients at the Silverdale NW Family location.
