Stephanie has over 18 years of experience working with children and families involved in the child welfare system, helping them navigate very difficult family problems. After obtaining her MSW from University of Washington in 2011, she began working with vulnerable children and families in Clark and Cowlitz Counties. Stephanie also worked as an adjunct instructor teaching in the social work program at Concordia University in Portland, OR. Stephanie incorporates elements of Solution Focused Therapy, family systems, cognitive behavioral treatments, and positive parenting approaches into her work with families.
Stephanie specializes in child and adolescent trauma and other anxiety problems. She maintains an additional focus in complex family dynamics that disrupt child development and important family relationships. This includes difficulties associated with parent-child relationship breakdown and parenting capacity problems.
