Michelle Babcock, MA, LMHC is a Clinical Psychology Psy.D doctoral-student at Antioch University Seattle. Michelle is in her fourth year of training. In addition to this doctoral training, Michelle earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. Since 2014, Michelle has worked with a wide-variety of adults in community mental health centers and private practice. Michelle is a passionate scholar-practitioner who incorporates a broad range of modalities with evidence-based principles for an overall integrative approach to psychotherapy.

At the foundation of Michelle’s work is an appreciation of each individual’s capacity to heal and grow. Michelle has respect for each individual’s path and the unique perspectives that each client brings to therapy. A bio-psychosocial counseling approach of mind, body, and spirit in working with the total individual is the underlying theoretical foundation of Michelle’s work with clients. Michelle also incorporates strategies from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, DBT, and Emotional-Focused Therapy. Michelle utilizes different modalities including but not limited to the above, tailored to meet each client’s unique need.

Michelle’s internship with NW Family Psychology also involves working closely with her supervisors administering psychological assessments. She is currently accepting only testing referrals as this time. She is available at the Silverdale office location.
