Kasia Hoskins, MA, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a broad range of experience having worked both in community mental health settings as well as private practice. Kasia graduated in 2008 from Antioch University, Seattle, with a specialization in a child, couples, and family therapy. She has been licensed in her field since 2012.

Kasia is passionate about assisting clients of all ages in the process of growth and change. She believes that therapy offers a unique opportunity to feel supported, and at the same time challenged in creating a more fulfilling and satisfying life. She works with individual adults and couples, as well as children, adolescents, and their family members.

Her therapeutic approach is influenced by client centered, strength based, and solution focused. This means working together in defining your vision of a more fulfilling life as well as examining, in a non judgmental way, what beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors prevent you from living the way you want. Other approaches Kasia incorporates is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy.

Kasia’s practice serves clients with a broad range of challenges: from gaining more insight into one’s reality, learning skills of self acceptance and compassion, becoming more skilled in managing difficult emotions or relationship distress, and healing past wounds to knowing how to reconnect with yourself and others.

Parents often seek Kasia’s support around issues related to behavior management, mood regulation, grief, and trauma. Couples frequently come to see her to repair communication breakdowns and create a greater sense of closeness/intimacy. Kasia also offers couples therapy for those experiencing separation and/or divorce. Other issues addressed in therapy might include depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and adjustment problems.

Kasia is currently accepting new clients at the Poulsbo NW Family Psychology office. Please contact our office directly by phone or email messenger via website.
