Christine Hsu, MS, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental health Counselor. Christine has worked in several clinical settings within the mental health field, including inpatient, residential treatment, and community mental health. She has experience in providing trauma informed care and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to youth and their families struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, severe behavioral issues, self-harm, anger management, self-esteem/self-image, interpersonal relationships and other emotional and behavioral needs. Christine has worked with children and adolescents, ages 5-18 as well as adults.
Christine has a strong background in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). She enjoys incorporating creative expression within her work to help find the individual’s strengths, while teaching and implementing emotion regulation and mindfulness. She follows a person centered approach that allows the individual to take a lead role in identifying their values and priorities while supporting and encouraging them to make positive changes and choices within their own treatment. Christine is now accepting referrals at our Silverdale office location.
