Michael Altig, MA, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health counselor in the state of Washington (LH 6087). He has a Master’s Degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from Chapman University.
Michael has been providing child and family therapy services to the people of Vancouver, Clark County, and the Portland area since 1996. He brings 36 years of child and family intervention experience to his work as a Parenting Coordinator and Parent-Child Reunification Counselor. He completed his Parenting Coordinator training with Robin Deutch. She is well recognized as someone who has helped write the standards of practice for Parenting Coordinators. A central part of his work with children and families has been to help people navigate the initial family separation through the painful experience of high conflict divorce.
